This contract position starts September 8th, 2026 (or as soon as possible) and continues through June 25th, 2027. Enjoy a reliable, weekday schedule—35 hours each week across five days—allowing you to focus on what matters most: helping your students thrive.
Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Current and active Rhode Island SLP license
- CCC or CFY status welcome
- Background in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
- Direct experience supporting students with AAC devices
- A passion for working with children with Autism and medically complex profiles
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals, regularly tracking student progress
- Collaborate with specialized education teams, teachers, and families
- Adapt strategies for each learner, especially those utilizing AAC technology
- Maintain timely and accurate records and documentation
