Start by September 8, 2026 (or as soon as available), and continue through June 25, 2027. This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and an attractive compensation of $50 per hour.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active RI Speech-Language Pathology License required
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred
- Knowledge or experience with AAC devices is highly valued
- Comfortable supporting students with Autism and medically complex needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in PK-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate records
- Work with families and staff to maximize student outcomes
- Provide AAC device support and training as needed
