Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island Speech License is required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Competency in serving students aged 5-22
- Experience working with ASD population is a plus
- Willingness to complete mandatory Safety Care training onsite
- Accepting SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress
- Support social communication for ASD learners
- Participate in IEP meetings and safety training sessions
