Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Woodstock, IL

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Illinois
- Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience working with pediatrics, preferably in a school or healthcare setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and tailoring interventions to individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to education
- Offer guidance and support to students at various stages of communication development
