Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in the state, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings is highly valued
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Deliver services using in-person and remote/teletherapy modalities, as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and communications per district and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support planning, and parent conferences
- Provide ongoing consultation and resources for staff and families on speech and language strategies
