Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Delaware (DE SLP license required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Demonstrated experience working in school environments, supporting a diverse student population
- Flexibility to provide services both on campus and in homebound contexts as needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to documentation best practices and compliance with legal and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services both in a school setting and to students who are medically homebound
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain organized, accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and consultative interventions as appropriate
