Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Relevant experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Flexible, adaptable approach for fluctuating caseloads
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel locally to homebound student locations as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to school-based students and those receiving instruction at home
- Assess and document students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and adjust interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals for integrated student support
- Maintain precise records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Contribute to team meetings and provide consultative services as required
