This engaging role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time schedules available (up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday), providing vital Speech-Language Pathology services within a supportive educational community.

You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, delivering assessment and therapy to a diverse caseload that adapts throughout the year. While the primary workspace is a school building, you’ll also make a meaningful impact by occasionally supporting homebound students – a limited, but essential function of this position. Your work will allow every student, regardless of their circumstances, to access the communication support they need.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid DE SLP license (required for submission)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Capacity to provide direct therapy and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Compassion, flexibility, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in both school and homebound settings
  • Keep detailed session notes and monitor student progress
  • Work in partnership with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student progress
  • Flexibly manage a caseload that varies during the contract term

This role has the potential to shape the academic and personal growth of students—whether in the classroom or supporting those in unique circumstances at home. If you are a dedicated, licensed SLP ready to make a lasting difference, submit your resume and DE SLP license to be considered. Your expertise is needed—take the next step in your career today!
