You’ll collaborate with a passionate special education team and enjoy a role where your skills make a difference every day. Flexibility is available, with options for both full-time and part-time schedules (up to 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday). The primary location will be assigned by the district and may fluctuate throughout the year in response to student needs. When not supporting homebound students, you will work in a school building setting with caseload details provided closer to assignment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Delaware Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language therapy
- Ability and willingness to work with both in-building and medically homebound students
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Resume required for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with varying needs in school or homebound environments
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation as required
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Adapt therapy approaches as caseload and student assignments change
