This role offers flexibility with the option for either part-time or full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday, beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding on June 8, 2027.
Your primary responsibilities cover a dynamic caseload that fluctuates during the school year. Most students are on-site, while a smaller group requires homebound services. You will have the chance to make a genuine impact on communication, language, and learning outcomes for a diverse student population. Site placements for school-based assignments will be determined to best serve student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware SLP license (required to be considered)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort and flexibility to travel for homebound visits as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in both school settings and private homes
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress
- Consult with caregivers and teachers to generalize strategies across environments
