Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Delaware Speech Language Pathologist license (required for consideration)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based environment
- Ability to effectively serve students both in school settings and those requiring homebound instruction
- Comfortable adapting to varying caseload numbers and fluctuating needs throughout the year
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Travel to homes within the district to support medically homebound students when needed
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and communicate regularly with school staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
