Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license (must be submitted with your resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to work comfortably both in school settings and in delivering services to homebound students
- Strong collaboration skills to communicate effectively with educators, families, and support teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for service delivery and progress monitoring
- Deliver direct therapy for students in both school and homebound environments
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to support generalization of skills across settings
- Adjust caseload management in response to fluctuating demands throughout the academic year
This contract position offers a weekday schedule (Monday through Friday), with some flexibility for full-time or part-time hours. The primary school assignment will be determined at placement, ensuring you’ll have support while serving a dynamic and varied caseload.
