In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to ensure each student’s communication needs are met—no matter the setting. The caseload will shift throughout the year, so adaptability is key. When not providing homebound services, you’ll work onsite at a school assigned by the district.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Delaware SLP license (Required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting
- Comfort delivering therapy both in-person at schools and to homebound students
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a dynamic caseload
- Adapt service delivery between traditional school and home environments as needed
- Work closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with district and state guidelines
This contract opportunity covers the 2026–2027 school year, Monday through Friday, with up to 37.5 hours per week. Both part-time and full-time schedules can be accommodated.
