Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Kansas (CFY welcome to apply)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Experience working with children or within school systems
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Conduct group and individual sessions in engaging, age-appropriate ways
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights into students’ educational plans
