Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kingston, New York

Desired Qualifications & Experience: • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but those with Clinical Fellowship (CF) experience are encouraged to apply • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic, diverse environment
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver speech and language therapy services to pediatric students as outlined in their IEPs • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to develop individualized treatment goals • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to foster student success • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation that adhere to school and regulatory standards • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions • Utilize creative and evidence-based practices to engage students across a range of needs
