Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Familiarity with IEP development and intervention planning for school-aged children
- Prior experience in an educational environment strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to work with diverse students and varying caseload needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct three individual speech-language sessions weekly, focusing on each student’s unique needs
- Evaluate speech, language, and communication challenges, creating intervention strategies for measurable progress
- Engage with parents and educators to discuss student progress and adapt therapy plans as required
- Maintain up-to-date, confidential documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current on best practices and compliance in school-based therapy
