School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Morganton, North Carolina

Your role will focus on providing expert speech-language services to a PreK-8th grade caseload of approximately 35-40 students. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans, ensuring each child’s unique communication needs are met.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license (Speech-Language Pathologist – CCC required)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Understanding of PreK-8th grade student needs
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to manage and document a moderate caseload efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for PreK-8th grade students, both in small groups and individually
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers to support student success
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation for all services provided
