School Speech Language Pathologist - Hickory, NC

You’ll work 37.5 hours per week and manage a manageable caseload of approximately 35–40 students, allowing you to provide personalized, high-quality speech-language services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver speech and language therapy services for students across PreK to 8th grade
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers to maximize student success
- Support students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs in both group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student progress
- Deliver services that engage and inspire confidence and communication in young learners
