Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with assistive listening technology
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Willingness and ability to supervise an SLPA, if needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and therapy services to K-12 students (primarily elementary)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state regulations
- Support and supervise an SLPA when assigned, ensuring quality standards
