Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience providing SLP services in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessment procedures
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to school-aged children
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to assess student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, targeting speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate, timely records of progress, plans, and compliance requirements
- Educate and support teachers and staff in best practices for communication disorders in the classroom
