Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy-planning skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide evidence-based therapy, both one-on-one and in small groups, to support students’ communication goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate, compliant records for each student
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote strategies that enhance classroom communication and learning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities
