Step into an important role supporting students’ communication and learning needs through contract SLP maternity leave coverage. This opportunity involves two full-time assignments working across multiple sites with K-12 student populations. The role offers valuable experience for professionals skilled in school-based speech-language pathology, in-person or teletherapy settings, and pediatric care.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, assessments, and therapy planning
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse K-12 learners
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students
- Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services both individually and in small groups, adapting to in-person and teletherapy as required
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Maintain timely, accurate records of therapy progress and student outcomes
- Manage schedule across assigned schools, supporting student needs during maternity leave coverage
