Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in school settings is valued, with knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt therapy to individual needs
- Commitment to working onsite—remote or teletherapy is not available for this position
- Please note: SLPAs are not currently being considered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs, utilizing standardized assessments and observations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable, evidence-based speech-language goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, tailored to student strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to ensure cohesive support and facilitate academic progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with school staff
