Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure (Virginia or eligibility for licensure)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in schools or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new documentation systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress reports
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Manage and update documentation using Log Wizard for logging service
- Learn and utilize VA Medicaid log to support billing procedures
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Adapt to changing caseloads and educational demands
