School-Based SLP | Elmira, New York
A rewarding full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with certification (SLP-CCC) to provide onsite services within school settings in the Western New York region, specifically covering Hornell and Bath districts. This role involves working primarily with PreK and elementary-aged students across Speech-Language caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services tailored to students’ individualized educational plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with state and school district guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State SLP license.
- Certification in TSSLD (Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities).
- Credentialed as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in school settings, especially with PreK and elementary students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location & Work Environment:
- This is an onsite position requiring presence in Hornell and Bath school districts.
- Work with students in public school environments, supporting their speech and language development.
