Needed Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically early childhood and elementary school students
- Comfort in assessing, diagnosing, and developing interventions for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in group settings
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers, parents, and caregivers to foster student growth
