Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) for New York State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
- Experience providing pediatric SLP services in school-based, early childhood, or elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to a range of student abilities and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students across grades K–12, adapting interventions to individual needs
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals in alignment with student and school objectives
- Provide timely documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
