Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Strong background in pediatric speech and language intervention, particularly within school settings
- Experience with early childhood, elementary, and adolescent populations
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Innovative, compassionate, and adaptable approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students ranging from kindergarten to high school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and special education staff
- Deliver direct therapy services both individually and in group settings
- Maintain detailed progress records and ensure compliance with all federal and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers and parents to provide support and strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
