What you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Current state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
- Clinical experience in pediatric, early childhood, or school-based settings—K–12 experience highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes and experience developing individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement speech and language therapy for students across K–12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and best practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and legal requirements
- Promote an engaging and supportive environment that empowers each student
