Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure/certification for school-based SLP practice
  • Bilingual endorsement required
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with diverse student populations
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and related service professionals

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
  • Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement personalized interventions
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for multidisciplinary planning
  • Consult with families to support carryover of skills into the home environment
