Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (required)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of speech and language disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Provide support and resources to families to encourage language development at home
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment
