Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required
- Previous experience working in school settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Provide direct therapy services and conduct group and one-on-one sessions
- Maintain thorough records of assessments, interventions, and student progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with educators and parents, offering guidance for supporting students’ communication needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
