Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Bilingual endorsement required
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as determined by individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored goals for students with varied communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff, ensuring inclusive and culturally responsive services
- Provide resources and strategies for teachers and families to support students outside the therapy setting
