Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license for the state of Illinois
  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Bilingual endorsement (required) to effectively support multilingual learners
  • Experience working in schools or similar pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district policies
  • Provide bilingual services and interventions as appropriate for the student population
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
