Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license for the state of Illinois
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bilingual endorsement (required) to effectively support multilingual learners
- Experience working in schools or similar pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district policies
- Provide bilingual services and interventions as appropriate for the student population
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
