School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Joliet, Illinois

You will be working with elementary and secondary-aged students, both in smaller group settings and as a consultant, making a real difference in the lives of children with a variety of speech and communication needs. With a weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours, this role offers a great balance for professionals looking to immerse themselves in both service delivery and collaborative consulting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Illinois SLP licensure or eligibility
- Experience in educational, autism, or behavioral settings strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and case management skills
- Ability to adapt services for varied student populations, from general education to specialized programs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in general and specialized education settings
- Craft and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and support staff
- Travel among school sites within a supportive school system
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
