Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job | Watertown, CT | 2026-2027 School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Watertown, Connecticut for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will primarily support students at the high school level while also providing services for out-of-district (OOD) and parochial school students.

Position Details

- School Year: 2026-2027
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 7:20 AM - 2:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 33
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Duration: Full School Year
- Caseload: Approximately 50-60 Students
- Setting: High School with OOD and Parochial School Responsibilities
- Compensation: Competitive hourly pay of $44 - $48 per hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in PPT/IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and progress reports
- Monitor student growth and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, social communication, and functional communication needs
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Eligible SLP candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
