Qualifications:
- Current, active Connecticut SLP License is required
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Experience in school settings or pediatrics highly desirable
- Comfortable working with students presenting diverse communication needs
- Familiarity with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) considered a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for PreK–6th-grade students
- Evaluate speech/language abilities and develop personalized IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow SLPs to optimize student progress
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt interventions to meet a broad spectrum of speech and language needs
