Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Bridgeport, CT
Make an immediate impact supporting students in grades PreK through 6th as a contracted speech-language pathologist near Bridgeport, Connecticut! Collaborate closely with a knowledgeable therapy team as you address the unique needs of a diverse student population, ranging from autism spectrum disorders to various articulation challenges. Your caseload will be shared with two other SLPs and will include 25–30 students, allowing for focused, individualized intervention within a supportive environment.
Start as soon as possible and continue your journey through June 2027, working a consistent 37.5-hour week, Monday through Friday. If you bring a passion for pediatric speech therapy and a commitment to student success, this role offers both challenge and reward.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Connecticut SLP license
- Open to SLP-CFY and SLP-CCC level professionals
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity or experience with AAC devices highly valued
- Strong skills in managing a range of needs, from autism to articulation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Design and deliver targeted interventions to address various student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each child
- Collaborate regularly with a multi-therapist team and classroom staff
- Document student progress and provide timely updates to families
