Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Waterford, CT

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued
- Strong ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech and language abilities using standardized tools
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and reporting
- Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies for classroom and home support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to interdisciplinary teams
