Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Confidence adapting therapy plans to various elementary age groups and needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary-age students across two campus sites
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and compliance requirements
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and specialists to support student growth and carryover of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, faculty collaborations, and school initiatives to enhance services
- Stay current with best practices and professional development opportunities related to school-based speech therapy
