Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but recent graduates are welcome
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide regular reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide support to students throughout the school day
- Adapt therapy techniques for diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds
