Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Connecticut or eligible for licensure)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and delivering direct therapy
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with faculty, families, and students
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Ability to adapt quickly and organize workload efficiently in a fast-paced school setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain required records in compliance with school guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ overall development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student programming
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required
