Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid SLP license for Connecticut
- Previous experience in schools, ideally at the middle school level
- CCC-SLP preferred; consideration given to strong CFs with relevant school placement
- Proficient in IEP documentation, progress tracking, and collaboration with education teams
- Demonstrated ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse caseload
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention services in small groups and individually
- Partner with teachers, families, and other specialists to address student needs
- Maintain accurate, timely records—including assessments, progress notes, and evaluations
- Support students’ social and academic integration through effective communication interventions
