Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a varied caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers and staff to support generalization of language skills in the classroom
- Participate in student-focused meetings and regularly communicate progress
Assignment Details:
- Full-time contract from ASAP through January
- Five days per week, with a split schedule: Three days based in Tunkhannock, two days in Wilkes-Barre, ensuring a diverse professional experience
