Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, multi-site roles
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, adapting interventions to diverse learning needs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to track progress and guide individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district-specific documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on communication goals
- Travel between Tunkhannock (3 days) and Wilkes-Barre (2 days) each week
