Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessment, and intervention strategies for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and allied professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Complete progress monitoring, documentation, and required reports in accordance with school and state mandates
- Provide strategies and support within the classroom to promote language development and communication
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers and parents regarding communication challenges
