A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting students in school settings. This long-term substitute role is set in a dynamic, well-supported program serving a diverse student community, including those with autism and behavioral needs. Work alongside a collaborative team of SLPs and behavioral therapists in an environment designed for both professional growth and student success.

Key Details:

  • Long-term sub role available ASAP through November 1, 2026, including Extended School Year (ESY).
  • ESY runs July 1 – July 24, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
  • New School Year (NSY) schedule starts August 12 and continues through November 1, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
  • Will consider applicants who can begin as early as July 1.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure and SLP certification for schools.
  • Prior experience in a school setting, working with students with autism and behavioral needs is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and deliver therapy in both group and individual settings.
  • Skilled in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Manage a small, high-needs caseload in a supportive environment.
  • Work closely with other SLPs, behavioral therapists, and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Record detailed session notes and track student progress.
