This long-term substitute role runs from as soon as possible through November 1, 2026, including Extended School Year (ESY). Schedule & Location Details:
- ESY: July 1 – July 24, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Regular School Year: August 12 – November 1, 2026, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Position is anchored at a single school campus that houses both a PreK–8 program and a 9th–22-year-old program, ensuring continuity and stability.
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist for schools
- Experience or strong interest in working with high-needs populations, particularly students with Autism or behavioral challenges
- Ability to partner and communicate effectively as part of a robust, multi-disciplinary team
- Prior background in educational settings and familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language services to a small, high-needs caseload
- Collaborate closely with six other SLPs, behavioral therapists, and support professionals
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, document progress, and participate in team meetings
- Provide direct intervention and consultative support to staff and families
