Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA CCC or CFY eligible
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably across elementary and middle grade levels
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based therapy
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Commitment to fostering student growth, inclusivity, and a positive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with communication challenges
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Author and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Consult with classroom teachers and staff to support student success in and out of the classroom
  • Maintain clear documentation and track student progress toward therapy objectives
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt service delivery for various learning settings and student needs
