Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Newton Grove, NC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a K-12 or school-based setting, with a focus on elementary and middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and organize therapy schedules effectively
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide direct therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and serve as a resource for school staff regarding speech and language issues
- Foster supportive relationships with students to encourage growth and confidence
