Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an SLP in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued, ideally with both elementary and middle-grade populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate student records and progress reports according to district and legal guidelines
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech services in both group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
