Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current, valid state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for children
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
- Utilize both individual and group intervention methods
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive and encouraging therapy environment to inspire student growth
