Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience or training working with K-12 student populations
- Strong understanding of a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding communication support
