Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience (clinical or work-based) with pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and individualized speech and language therapy for school-aged children
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
- Participate in student support meetings, case conferences, and parent consultations
- Promote a positive learning environment and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school setting
- Attend professional development sessions and stay current on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
