An exciting contract opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in working with pediatric populations in school settings. Located in Pennsylvania, with opportunities in Monroe and Pike Counties, this full-time position focuses on early intervention, serving a pre-K caseload and playing a pivotal role in supporting young learners’ communication growth and academic success.
Your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology will help foster meaningful development in a diverse student body. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, ensuring each child receives the attention they deserve.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid PA SLP credentials and relevant licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience providing services within school or early intervention settings, especially for pre-K children
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for pre-K children in school-based settings
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans, maintaining thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in professional development activities
- Advocate for students’ needs and support a positive learning environment across Monroe and Pike County
