School Speech Language Pathologist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

As an integral part of the educational team, you will work five days a week, bridging essential language and speech services for a caseload currently ranging from 30-40 students in grades K-3 or 4-8, depending on assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP role
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapy delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine students’ needs and track progress
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals with measurable outcomes
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ success
